The 2021 Easter Egg Hunting at Andelin Farm will be held each day the week of Wednesday April 7 to Saturday April 10 from 10:30am to 5pm.
The Egg Hunt is ongoing throughout the day and the eggs are restocked into the field. Here's how it will work:
You will select a day and time to purchase your egg hunt. The time will be a half-hour window for you to enter the egg hunt field once anytime during that time. Example: Your ticket is for 11:30am, you can enter the field 1 time anytime between 11:30 and noon.
Upon check-in, Egg Hunt Participants will be given a basket to be used to collect eggs in the egg hunt pasture. (Please note that eggs will not be hidden in other areas of the farm, just in the designated egg hunt field). Eggs will be filled with a variety of candy and toys. Once children fill their basket they come back to the check out table to exchange their basket for a bag that they get to put their eggs into and keep.
Plastic eggs can be emptied and returned to be recycled or you can keep the eggs.
Participants will be allowed to collect 10 eggs.
The Egg hunt is $5/child AND IS AN ADD-ON to the admission into the Spring Baby Animal Days and Tulip Festival. You still need to purchase an admission pass to enter the farm to do the egg hunt. All farm guests need to purchase a paid admission except babies 2 and under.
If a you have a child 2 years and under that you want to do the egg hunt, they do not need an admission ticket but they do need an egg hunt ticket.
You will want to coordiate the time of your farm general admission ticket time with your egg hunt ticket time. Example: Your general admission is at 2pm. Your egg hunt time should be 2pm or later within the amount of time you want to spend at the farm. Please make sure they are on the same day too!
Eggs will be filled with the following examples of toys & candy: bouncing balls, funny teeth, jumping bunnies, mini yo-yos, puzzle watches, rhinestone rings, rope bracelets, skateboards, airheads, jolly ranchers, laffy taffy, popping candy, sour punch twist, sweet tarts, tootsie pop minis, twizzlers.
Parents may accompany and assist children and do not need to purchase an egg hunt ticket unless they want to collect their own eggs.
p.s. We hear that the Easter Bunny will also be at our Egg Hunt!
